This would make a great computer for office work, internet browsing, or light gaming and is much more capable than Chromebooks or low-end laptops that are sold for the same price. Linux Mint 21 is installed and fully updated. Mint looks and acts much like Windows XP/7 and is known for its friendly user interface. The latest version of Libre Office, an open-source MS Office replacement, is also installed by default. Libre Office natively supports all Office file types (.doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, etc.) and does not charge yearly subscription fees as Microsoft now does.
This machine has plenty of RAM for multitasking. The SSD allows for quick booting and safer data storage while the secondary 500GB HDD offers plenty of room for media storage and all of your favorite programs.
